Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ fame actress Vaibhavi Upadhyaya, has lost her life in a car accident. The incident took place in Himachal Pradesh when the actress was travelling in a car with her fiancé, late last night.
Expressing his disbelief, actor and writer Deven Bhojani took to his Twitter profile and wrote, “Shocking! A very fine actress and a dear friend Vaibhavi Upadhyay, popularly known as “Jasmine“ of Sarabhai vs Sarabhai passed away. She met with an accident in north a few hours back. Rest in peace Vaibhavi #SarabhaiVsSarabhai #Hatsoff @sats45 @TheRupali”
Veteran actor Satish Shah also tweeted, “Vaibhavi Upadhyay, aka Jasmin in our serial Sarabhai vs Sarabhai a fine actor and a colleague left for heavenly abode yday. The whole SvS team is in a shock. Om Shanti”
Actress Rupali Ganguly shared, “This is not fair ….. gone too soon”
Upadhyaya was a known face. Apart from Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, she also worked in shows such as CID, Adaalat and Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka’.
She also featured in Deepika Padukone-starrer ‘Chhapaak’.
