In a recent media interaction, actress Vidya Balan opened up about her excitement and nerves working alongside the legendary Madhuri Dixit Nene for the first time in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Addressing the hype around competition, Vidya firmly stated that the idea of competing with Madhuri is “rubbish,” emphasizing that Madhuri is the very reason she became an actress.
Reflecting on their collaboration, Vidya shared, “It was amazing. I was actually nervous because on the very first day we started shooting the song. I remember going to Madhuri and telling her that if I make a mistake, please forgive me. And she said, ‘Don’t be crazy, we will enjoy this process.’ We shot for four days without realizing it, and it was great working with her.”
Vidya further praised Madhuri, stating, “I just think there is no competition for Madhuri Dixit, so there is no question of competing with her. She is the reason I wanted to be an actor. To be sharing the frame with her, to be dancing with her, is a big honor for me.”
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is directed by Anees Bazmee and features a stellar cast that includes Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, and a strong supporting ensemble featuring actors like Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, and Ashwini Kalsekar.
