City NGO Neighbourhood Foundation will be conducting an art competition for school students to raise funds for its hunger relief efforts. The art competition is organized to mark the forthcoming World Food Day 2021.
“The contest will be organized under four categories and each will be having a theme of its own. We hope that the art competition will create awareness among school students about the havoc hunger wrecks in the lives of people. It will encourage students to visualize a hunger-free India. The students will learn the importance of not wasting food. They will also understand the connection between the food choices they make and their health and that of the planet. The art contest will be held virtually and the students can submit their work by September 25. The registration fee of Rs 100 will go to fund the hunger-relief project,” says R Hemanth, founder of Neighbourhood Foundation.
