Raai Laxmi, adorned in a beach-style pink co-ord set, exuded effortless elegance as she made her way through the terminal, her silver slippers glinting under the fluorescent lights. Raai Laxmi’s presence in Mumbai wasn’t merely a casual visit; she had returned with a purpose—to promote her upcoming Malayalam film titled “DNA.” The trailer for the much-anticipated movie had been unveiled just the day before, igniting curiosity and anticipation among fans and cinephiles alike.
Directed by veteran filmmaker TS Suresh Babu and scripted by A K Santhosh, “DNA” marks a significant milestone in Raai Laxmi’s career as it heralds her comeback to Malayalam cinema after a hiatus of more than five years. The film boasts a compelling narrative, anchored by a stellar cast led by Mammootty’s nephew, Ashkar Saudan, in the lead role.
The film will hit the screens on June 14, on the occasion of Eid.
