The first official trailer for quirky comic caper titled Kathal, starring Sanya Malhotra, is out, this one is a cop investigative drama revolving around two stolen jackfruits from a local politicians garden.

In the trailer, we can see a comedy drama revolving around a female police officer (Sanya) and her journey of unfolding the mystery of 2 jackfruits being stolen from the garden of a MLA played by actor Vijay Raaz. Movie also features actor-comedian Rajpal Yadav in avatar of a journalist in a satirical comedy.
The film is written by Ashok Mishra and directed by Yashowardhan Mishra, the film also stars Anant V Joshi, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Brijendra Kala and Neha Saraf in lead roles.
The film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Guneet Monga and Achin Jain under the banners Balaji Motion Pictures and Sikhya Entertainment.
The film is scheduled to be released on 19 May 2023 on Netflix.
