Veteran actor Anil Kapoor’s last few releases has been new directors, and relatively younger co-actors, and veteran star he is just grateful for the opportunity to work with upcoming generation of filmmakers and actors.
Anil Kapoor was interacting with NewsHelpline to celebrate the success of his movie, Jug Jugg Jeeyo, which has crossed 100 Cr mark. The film also stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Kohli.
Talking about his success of his film, Anil Kapoor said, “The person who has invested into the film, they should be able to get their money back, and if the film makes profit, I couldn’t be happier, but I would like my movies to make money, so that the makers would like to repeat me in their movie”
Further adding, Anil Kapoor said films making money isn’t all that important, but the crucial thing is that he got to work with new filmmaker. “Important thing is that I got to work with new actors and filmmakers, movies like Dil Dhadakane Do, Thar, AK Vs AK and Jug Jugg Jeeyo, all are made by young filmmakers, who are trying to make a film according to themselves, and If I get to work with them, I think it is my good fortune”
Talking about his future projects, Anil Kapoor added, “I am doing a film with Hrithik Roshan, it is titled Fighter, then I am doing a film with Ranbir Kapoor, titled Animal, I am doing a film with Harshvardhan Kapoor titled Bindra, and I am doing one film with Aditya Roy Kapur which is titled Captain”
Anil Kapoor made his digital debut with 24 series, and after 2 massive seasons, the makers hasn’t announced the third season, but veteran star is eager for the new season. He said, “Even I want to do the third season of 24 series, but let’s see what comes of it, I am looking forward to it”
