Following the success of Dhak Dhak, starring Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanjana Sanghi in the lead roles, the makers are planning to come up with a sequel.
The road adventure drama film, Dhak Dhak, written and directed by Tarun Dudeja and produced by Ajit Andhare, Kevin Vaz, Pranjal Khandhdiya and Taapsee Pannu is getting a sequel.
Sanjana Sanghi, who played the role of Manjari in the film, took to her social media profile and wrote, “SPECIAL NEWS : The #DhakDhakSequel, My darling Manjari, she has a curious heart, eyes brimming with hope, and love for the world. She doesn’t mistake liberation as rebellion, She revels in her innocence with a belief that the world is equally so. She’s content in her protected world in Mathura, but eager to experience the world. She’s the best friend everyone wants in their life. Solid. Supportive. Objective.”

The sequel will be helmed by Tarun Dudeja, and backed by the same team. The ensemble will be announced shortly.
Dhak Dhak revolved around four women, who set out for a road trip to the highest motorable pass in the world on their bikes on a journey of self-discovery. They take their motorcycles like large-winged birds to a gust of wind. They ride beyond the limits of their lives and to the heights of freedom.
