Ahead of its release in India, the makers of Oppenheimer hosted a celebrity screening in Mumbai, which saw actors, trade analysts, reviewers and influencers in attendance.
Christopher Nolan who has so often tickled our brains with his intriguing canvases and mind-tickling plotlines, is back again with yet another larger than life drama Oppenheimer, based on Based on the 2005 biography American Prometheus by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin, the film chronicles the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, a theoretical physicist who was pivotal in developing the first nuclear weapons as part of the Manhattan Project.
The screening saw Ritwik Dhanjani, Akshaye Oberoi, Sidharth Kanan, Ashish Chanchalani, Rohit Saraf, Shweta Basu Prasad, Aahana Kumra, Nikita Dutta, Aisha Ahmed, Komal Nahta, Ritesh Deshmukh, Genelia, Abhimanyu Dasani, Anant Mahadevan and many more in attendance.
During his conversation with Newshelpline, famous YouTuber and influencer Ashish Chanchalani opened-up about his love for Nolan, said, “I am super excited for Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan makes really good movies, his film stands apart, I mean, by the time his movie ends, you’re trying to understand it, and I don’t think the kind of fan following Nolan has in India, he would have it anywhere else.”
The film stars Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr, Florence Pugh, Josh Hartnett, Casey Affleck, Rami Malek, and Kenneth Branagh.
The film opens in the cinema halls on 21st July 2023.
